QuakeCon 2019 – Keynote, Panels, Twitch Drops & More

QuakeCon is returning to the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. This year’s event – dubbed QuakeCon: Year of DOOM in honor of DOOM’s 25th anniversary – will run from July 25 through July 28 and feature a host of panels, events, activities and, of course, North America’s largest BYOC area.

Though the BYOC opens its doors on July 25, QuakeCon will officially kick off with a keynote presentation at 11:00am CT on Friday, July 26, which you can watch at Twitch.tv/Bethesda all day, but you can get an overview of some of the events, tournaments and panels below.

Legends Masters Series – Runs all day. The Masters Series is the highest level of competition in The Elder Scrolls: Legends and we’re incredibly excited to bring it back to QuakeCon 2019! 25 Years of DOOM’s Influence on Video Games – An all-star panel of Bethesda developers looks back at how DOOM's launch 25 years ago impacted the video game industry and the games that followed. Featuring leads from id Software, MachineGames, Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, this roundtable discussion will cover games old and new, and trends in shooters and beyond. Building Tamriel – The Evolution of ESO – Join ESO Game Director Matt Firor and Creative Director Rich Lambert – and members of the #ESOFam in the audience and online – for a discussion about the evolution of ESO through the years. From One Tamriel to Elsweyr, they'll explore the pinnacle moments that made the game what it is today, and how the game has grown and changed to become one of the largest online game communities around. 8:00am CT Quake Pro League – The Quake Pro League season begins with a round robin on Thursday, July 25 which for the first time ever, you can watch every match from any Pro player's point of view on QuakeCon.tv)

Twitch Drops

Twitch Drops are back! All you have to do to receive them is tune into the QuakeCon keynote and other events listed below on the appropriate Twitch channels. Just make sure your Twitch account is linked to your Bethesda.net account and your Elder Scrolls Online account. This year we’ll have awesome Drops for RAGE 2, The Elder Scrolls: Legends and The Elder Scrolls Online.

• RAGE 2 – Check out the keynote presentation at Twitch.tv/Bethesda and get the exclusive Twitch Assault Rifle skin and the Ghost Assault Rifle skin. You’ll receive your skins the week after QuakeCon .

• The Elder Scrolls: Legends – You’ll get two separate Drops for Legends during QuakeCon – one for watching the keynote, and one for watching the Legends Masters Series. For the keynote (Twitch.tv/Bethesda) you’ll get three Moons of Elsweyr card packs! Your card packs will appear when you load up the game the week after QuakeCon.

• The Elder Scrolls Online – Like with Legends, you’ll get two different Drops. For watching the keynote (Twitch.tv/Bethesda), you’ll be rewarded with the Flame Atronach Senche Jaguar pet and one more Ouroboros Crown Crate. Your Crown Crates and pet will be waiting for you when you log in the week after QuakeCon.
