June 18 BATTLEMODE Update

This update for DOOM Eternal features BATTLEMODE balance changes for ALL platforms and does not require any download.
Note from the Devs:
This week’s gameplay balance update primarily focuses on the Revenant. While this mobile demon always brings the fun factor, there are two primary issues we hope to address in this balance update:
- Too weak in the first round
- Not a viable demon against elite Slayers
Look below for details on the changes that were made but the general goal was to enhance his effectiveness while retaining his established role in the mode. He is the “Glass Cannon” but currently he does not have enough bite to justify his health pool. The meta with him will remain the same, focused primarily around the effective use of his rocket barrage but we’ve enhanced his attacks to push that strategy even further which should result in more engaging encounters with him.
Look out for more performance updates in the upcoming patches as well as a new map and progression items.

Balance Changes for ALL platforms
REVENANT
JETPACK
- Base recharge delay reduced from 2s to 1s
AFTERBURNER (Dash)
- Recharge penalty reduced from 2s to 0s
TWIN ROCKETS (Base Projectile Attack)
- Projectile Speed increased from 40 m/s to 60 m/s
- Direct Hit Damage reduced from 10 to 6
- Max Splash Damage increased from 6 to 10
- Min Splash Damage increased from 2 to 6
ROCKET BARRAGE
- Cooldown increased from 13s to 30s
- Direct Damage for each rocket reduced from 3 to 1
- Max Splash Damage for each rocket increased from 4 to 6
- Min Splash Damage for each rocket increased from 2 to 5
End of Round Upgrades:
ACROBAT Upgrade
- Fuel duration increased from 5s to 10s
UNSTABLE TRIGGER Upgrade
- Total projectiles reduced from 28 to 24 rockets
- Rocket Barrage cooldown with Unstable Trigger from 13s to 30s (round upgrade no longer affects cooldown)
Loadouts
Action Set: DEFENSIVE
- Armored replaced with Haste
Power Upgrades:
DEMONIC ONSLAUGHT
- Damage increase reduced from 25% to 10%
- Duration increased from 10s to 20s
- Added 10% damage reduction
Balance Changes for Console only
REVENANT
Rocket Barrage
- Max Splash Damage for each rocket increased from 4 to 5
- Min Splash Damage for each rocket increased from 2 to 3
Known Issues
Revenant’s UNSTABLE TRIGGER Upgrade
- Current description states: “Your Rocket Barrage ability refreshes 3 seconds quicker and shoots more rockets”
- This is inconsistent with the in-game behavior after the latest BATTLEMODE balance changes
Revenant’s ACROBAT Upgrade
- Current description states: “Your Jetpack has 40% more capacity, recharges 1 second sooner after touching the ground & Afterburner no longer has a penalty for running out of fuel”
- This is inconsistent with the in-game behavior after the latest BATTLEMODE balance changes
Revenant’s DEMONIC ONSLAUGHT Power Upgrade
- Current description states: “Increases your damage output 25% for 10 seconds”
- This is inconsistent with the in-game behavior after the latest BATTLEMODE balance changes
- No Armored Buff status message will appear when this is activated
TEAM HEAL
- Current description states: “Gain access to a heal that heals 50% of your health and 25% of your teammate’s health”
- This is inconsistent with the in-game behavior after the latest BATTLEMODE balance changes
- On PC TEAM HEAL grants both the caster and teammate 30% of their health
- On Console TEAM HEAL grants both the caster and teammate 25% of their health
HEALING ZONE
- Current description states: “All player demons heal for 100 health every second while inside. Lasts 8 seconds”
- This is inconsistent with the in-game behavior after the latest BATTLEMODE balance changes
- Player demons heal for 90 health every second; the zone still lasts 8 seconds
Pain Elemental's FIT MEATBALL
- Current description states: “Your Aerial Dash ability recharges 50% quicker”
- This is inconsistent with the in-game behavior after the latest BATTLEMODE balance changes
- The recharge is now 33% quicker
