DOOM (2016) Cinematic Trailer Props

This impressive replica of the DOOM Slayer’s helmet should be recognizable to any DOOM fan. No, it’s not the helmet that comes with the DOOM Eternal Collectors Edition, but it’s still likely you’ve seen this bad boy in action before…

Directed by Joseph Kosinkski of Tron Legacy (2010) and Oblivion (2013) fame, the “Fight Like Hell” cinematic trailer for DOOM (2016) blends computer-generated imagery (CGI) and live action to create a relentless 60-second gantlet of demon-thrashing. These props were wielded by the on-screen Slayer as he rips and tears through the trailer in true DOOM fashion.

Kosinski is no stranger to video games, having also directed well-known adverts like the “Starry Night” trailer for Halo 3 and the “Mad World” trailer for the original Gears of War. The use of real-life props in “Fight Like Hell” not only sets it apart visually from CGI-only works but also leaves behind some cool, tangible souvenirs like these badass props of the Plasma Gun and Combat Shotgun!
