November 4 BATTLEMODE 2.0 Update

This update for DOOM Eternal features BATTLEMODE 2.0 balance changes for ALL platforms and does not require any download.

Note: We are aware of a bug that is causing the Dread Knight’s Swipe attack to deal more damage than it should when he is the only demon alive. We are investigating a fix

Balance Changes for All Platforms

General

  • PENANCE will no longer be chosen as an arena in Online Matches but can still be chosen as an arena in Private Matches

  • FORSAKEN will be chosen as an arena in Online Matches less frequently

  • STRONGHOLD will be chosen as an arena in Online Matches more frequently

BATTLEMODE Characters Slayer.245x278

SLAYER

  • Super Shotgun damage dealt to the Archvile has been increased by 18%

REVENANT

  • The initial vertical thrust of the Revenant’s jetpack has been increased

Balance Changes for PC Only

  • Archvile's Teleport ability cooldown has increased from 4.5 sec to 6 sec

  • Archvile's Teleport ability cooldown has increased from 5 sec to 7 sec

BATTLEMODE Characters DreadKnight

DREAD KNIGHT

DE-DK-Ability Berserk

BERSERK

  • Damage dealt using swipe attacks during Berserk has been reduced from 16 down to 14
  • Duration of Berserk ability has been reduced from 7 sec down to 6 sec
  • Duration of Berserk ability start-of-round cooldown has been increased from 20 sec up to 25 sec
