What’s better than a choir? A HEAVY METAL CHOIR

DOOM is a lot more than a game. Things can just feel like DOOM, and the series’ music gives many players the urge to battle hordes of demons just by sound alone. DOOM Eternal composer Mick Gordon continues the tradition of invoking demon-slaying vibes through audio, and his latest project puts forward something unique: a heavy metal choir.

Sending out an open call for metal vocalists, Gordon collected a badass crew of musicians to fill out his eclectic choir. Featuring vocal talents ranging from the late, great Nature Ganganbaigal to acts such as Aborted, Frontierer, Vault Dweller, Wildspeaker, Black Crown Initiate and more, we can’t wait to bring this sound to DOOM Eternal and fully immerse players in the battle to save Earth from the clutches of Hell. Watch the full behind-the-scenes video below:

Keep it locked to the Slayers Club for all things DOOM and prepare your ears for more of Mick Gordon’s demon-shredding tunes in DOOM Eternal, launching March 20 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
